SELLER POLICY

Here, we outline the expectations and responsibilities of sellers on the Buy Africa Made E-commerce platform. By creating a shop on BAM website, you agree to these terms and conditions.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS:

1. High-Quality Listings: Create clear and accurate product listings with detailed descriptions, high-resolution photos, and competitive pricing. Your product images will not be uploaded if they don’t meet our standards.

2. Accurate Inventory: Ensure your listed products are readily

available for delivery, and make sure to update available quantities promptly when stock changes.

3. Honest Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to buyer inquiries and messages. Check your dashboard often and turn on your email notifications.

4. Fast and Reliable Shipping: Ship orders within the time-frame you specify in your listing through our delivery platform. Contact our support team support@buyafricamade.com for assistance on delivery issues.

5. Positive Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to build trust and buyer satisfaction. Contact our support team support@buyafricamade.com to report discrepancies.

6. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Ensure your product listings conforms with all set local and international guiding policies and standard practices i.e for Nigeria, NAFDAC, NICERT, ECOCERT, SON etc.

VENDOR TIP

Advertise your Vendor link: Be the preacher of your brand by sharing your SHOP link on all your social handles, the more people buy through your link , the more sales comes to your brand. This improves your rating and qualifies your SHOP for higher brand visibility on the platform.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES ON BUY AFRICA MADE:

1. Selling counterfeit, low quality, illegal, or unsafe items.

2. Misrepresenting items in listings through inaccurate descriptions or misleading photos.

3. Engaging in fraudulent activity or manipulating the BAM platform.

4. Violating intellectual property rights of others.

5. Spamming or harassing-of BAM staff.

REFUNDS

1. 15 days' refund window: You agree to provide buyers on the BAM platform with a maximum of 15 days' refund window, subject to exceptions. This means buyers have up to 15 days from the date of delivery to initiate refund for some products.

This may not however apply to:

A. Items damaged due to improper use: Goods/products damage caused by user/buyer's negligence or misuse.

B. Custom-made or personalized items: Due to their unique nature, custom-made or personalized items typically cannot be returned

unless there is a clear error on the seller's part.

2. Refund delivery and payment: When a product receives a negative review due to product defect, inaccuracy of actual product through misrepresentation in such that Customer initiate a return and refund. The Vendor agrees to handle the return delivery fee of such product.

3. Reselling Returned Products: You may resell returned products, provided that the item returned is still in good condition and does not have any defect. However, multiple return of a listed item of a seller may trigger suspension of the seller's account on BAM.

CONSEQUENCES OF POLICY VIOLATIONS:

BAM takes violations of our Seller Policy seriously. Depending on the severity of the offence, we may take one or more of the following

actions against you:

1. Removal of your listing

2. Shop suspension

3. Account termination

4. Withholding of funds

OUR OBLIGATIONS: 

1. Registration and On-boarding of Sellers on the BAM site is FREE.

2. We ensure the BAM website is always available and accessible.

3. Products uploaded through your dashboard will be subjected to our Quality control and conformity checks before approval.

4. Product not approved will remain in your dashboard.
